The 50S offers not one, but three different intercom modes available for Sena users: Multichannel Open Mesh Intercom™, Group Mesh Intercom™ and Bluetooth® Intercom.

The Multichannel Open Mesh Intercom (Open Mesh) presents the first multichannel Intercom Mesh system in the industry. Similar to standard portable radios or CBs, the 50S allows users to switch between 6 different channels when operating in Open Mesh mode. The Open Mesh offers a single-touch button connection to the Intercom Mesh network. It also supports an almost unlimited number of users within a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min. 6 users at intervals of 1 mi / 1.6 km). With this ease of connection, large user capacity, incredible range, and the inclusion of the 6-channel function, the Open Mesh mode of the 50S will undoubtedly be a game-changer for large group/club rides.
