The most significant novelty of the 19RCS CORSA SHORT is that it offers the pilot the possibility of adapting the position of the braking point of attack, «bite point», to his driving preferences, by means of an easily accessible selector, located in the top of the pump (patent of this technology pending registration).

ONE PUMP, THREE MAPS

The selector, through a cam mechanism, allows the user to be chosen from three different response configurations.

With the Normal configuration , identified in the pump with the letter N, the position of the attack point guarantees a more gradual initial phase and, therefore, suitable to drive in city or for braking in conditions of low grip.

With the Sport configuration ,identified in the bomb with the letter S, the beginning of the attack point is shorter than in the N configuration. This configuration offers a more dynamic response, suitable for a more sporty driving.

Finally, in the Race configuration , identified in the pump with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism allows to further reduce the initial phase of the pointof attack, to produce an immediate response, just like in the MotoGP brake pumps. In this way, the pilot can obtain the attack point of the braking immediately. This configuration is ideal for driving with a marked sense of competition, where scraping hundredths of seconds in braking is important.

By simply going from one type of configuration to another, the pilot can vary the response and thensación of braking of the motorcycle of immediate and predictable form.
