Motul 20W50 7100 oil is designed for touring motorcycles, trail bikes, off-road motorcycles, enduro, trials, and other 4-stroke engines with integrated or separate gearboxes and wet or dry clutches. It is suitable for engines designed to use low-viscosity lubricants and equipped with exhaust aftertreatment systems such as catalytic converters and exhaust air injection. Ref. 104104

Motul 20W50 7100 oil is designed for touring motorcycles, trails, off-road motorcycles, enduro, trial… 4-stroke engine equipment with integrated or non-integrated gearboxes and wet or dry clutches, engines designed to use low viscosity lubricants equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems: catalytic converters, exhaust air injection.

Motul 20W50 7100 oil is designed for touring motorcycles, trail bikes, off-road motorcycles, enduro, trials, etc.

Specifications:

  • Ester with a low coefficient of friction to reduce mechanical losses inside the engine and improve performance.
  • Synergy of the ester with anti-wear and shear resistance additives to ensure the longevity of the gearbox gears.
  • 100% synthetic lubricant to improve the resistance of the lubricating film at high temperatures and high engine speeds.
  • Reduced phosphorus and optimized sulfur (JASO MA2 <1200 ppm) to ensure the proper functioning and durability of exhaust catalysts.
  • Gearbox protection thanks to innovative additive technology Anti-wear: FZG Test Results = FLS>14: The FZG (Forschungsstelle für Zahnrader und Getriebebau) test evaluates the lubrication capacity or anti-wear protection of the fluid between two gears subjected to variable engagement. The lubricant is classified according to its "load failure level" called FLS (Load Failure) from FLS 1 (very poor result) to FLS 14 (exceptional result). JASO created its own standard - JASO T903 - for 4-stroke motorcycle engines, which comprises three levels: JASO MA, MA1, and MA2. The JASO MA2 specification offers the highest level of friction to guarantee perfect clutch friction in all three operating phases: starting, acceleration, and top speed.
