Thanks to this Tester you can check the status of your battery, alternator and start performance

Very easy to use.
Connect the clamps to the battery or connect with an SAE battery cable installed and then: check the battery charge level. If the battery has a low charge level, the engine start will be poor.

Start the engine. The OptiMate check function registers and indicates (for 20 s) the minimum voltage of theranque. With the engine running, check the charging voltage from the alternator and the voltage regulator.

TIP: If the charging voltage is low, it will make the battery performance insufficient. If the charging voltage is too high, it will cause an excess of gassing that will ultimately damage the lead-acid battery. If the charging voltage is too high, it can DAMAGER PERMANENTLY LiFePO4 starter batteries.
