We have studied all the circular, roller, and radial mechanical antifriction fabrics on the market and have conducted practical and simulation tests, but with negative results. Prototypes have been made with alternative systems, but without success. Only after rigorous testing and research in the laboratory and on the track did we develop the Torsion Controller.

The Torsion Controller solves the following problems.

During the shift curve, the driven pulley assembly slides axially along the fixed pulley hub and the movable pulley bushing (torque driver), which describes a slight curve that torques the contrast spring. In some cases, the spring loses its position, rubbing metal against metal on the mass-bearing plate; in other cases, it remains in place, thus generating different contrast forces.

Second problem: the centrifugal forces that develop at high rotation speeds act on the spring, causing it to deform and cause vibrations that bother the rider and can cause engine problems and lead to irregular shift curves.

Result

The project was approved only after testing in the test department and on the track on all scooter models used, with complete satisfaction.
